The Chubby's Project Donation Drive
In honor of Earth Day, Hopewell Theater is running a donation drive to support local food security!
Now through Sunday, April 23, patrons will have the option to donate to The Chubby’s Project, a local nonprofit dedicated to food justice and building connections within the Hopewell community. It is through the generosity and commitment of people like you that they can continue in their efforts.
The Project’s signature effort is a lunch program through which they deliver hot meals and groceries four days a week to neighbors in need. Meals are made by Aunt Chubby’s Luncheonette and provided to the Project at cost. Additionally, they collaborate with the D&R Greenway to grow vegetables in their sharing garden at St. Michael's Preserve to supplement the meals. They also work with schools and scouting groups to provide opportunities and education regarding food insecurity.
Patrons can donate on our donation page, or during checkout for a ticket to our next Art of Living Well film and discussion, The Seeds of Vandana Shiva.
