XPN Welcomes An Evening with Johnny Irion & Pat Sansone of Wilco

Saturday, November 10!
Join us for a special acoustic evening with Johnny Irion and Pat Sansone of Wilco and The Autumn Defense.
Best known for his folk explorations with his wife Sarah Lee Guthrie, including their recent Wassaic Way produced by Jeff Tweedy, Irion has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting artists across the folk-rock spectrum, from his uncannily Young-Nilsson-esque voice to his melodic and lyrical mettle. Johnny Irion has just wrapped up a solo record, Driving Friend, due out this spring. The album was produced by Tim Bluhm, backed by Blackwing, the artisan pencil makers with a diverse musical heritage, and features members of Dawes, Wilco, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers.
Pat Sansone is a producer, musician, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, and band member of Wilco and The Autumn Defense. Pat’s music is a modern view of the infectious time of the tastiest singer-songwriter, AM-radio gems of the ’70s, including Harry Nilsson’s Nilsson Schmilsson and Lennon’s John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band.
